28 April 2008: First charter flight for summer season in Skiathos

Summer season for Skiathos started with two arrivals from Netherlands!

Two flights were performed during the beginning of summer season in Skiathos, both from Netherlands.

Both flights arrived from Amsterdam. First one was Arkefly 287 with Boeing 737-800 (PH-TFA) followed by a Transavia Boeing 737-800 (PH-HZG).

Late Easter in Greece was the reason for that early start of charter flights.

Traditional horse race at Saint George church, close to the airport, offers spectacular view of airplanes and horses!

Runway in use was 20.
